The EDGY collection was instigated in a lumber yard one day by a stack of 2x4’s with painted ends. While in the lumber yard, paint is used to minimize the cracking of wood, we’ve taken this utilitarian practice and applied it in service of flair and style.
The contrast between the materials emphasizes the beauty of each: the colorful man-made edge is simple and pristine while the natural grain and movement of the wood finish provides an organic counterpoint.
This customized edge detail allows you to select a color that you love from our versatile palette. Or... you can create a custom color (please call our studio at 718-963-2345 for more information). This smart colored edge can set the tone for a room, or fill in a blank.
The EDGY dining table is impeccably crafted, functional and versatile- in Black Walnut with a Bright Green or Lemon Yellow lacquered edge, the table takes on a daring and lively personality. In White Oak with a Chalk lacquered edge, it has a more neutral appeal. Regardless of the combination you select, EDGY enables you to customize your dining table to maximize the aura of the room.
Looks great with: Scandinavian Mid-Century chairs, natural canvas director’s chairs, formal china, ornate silver flatware.
Materials: American rift sawn White Oak or American plain sawn Black Walnut veneers over a solid lumber core. Lacquer. Oil and wax finish. Pristine quality.
Dimensions: 40” w x 60” l x 29” h. Extends to 98” long and seats 4 when leaves are down. Seats 6 or 8 with leaves extended. Larger and custom sizes also available.
